Step 1: Complete the Online Placement Test

Before you can start your LearnEnglish course, you need to complete this Online Placement Test.

To successfully complete the Online Placement test, you must either:

1. Answer all 72 questions, or

2. use the full 40 mins, or

3. click the End test button

• The test might automatically end sooner for lower levels of English.
• If you close your browser without meeting one of the above requirements, your test will not be finished and we will not be able to calculate your language level.
• You need headphones or speakers to be able to hear the listening questions.
